Just around the kids' bedtime on Friday night, Bush administration officials tiptoed into the nursery with some news that should keep some working parents up all night fretting at their youngsters' bedsides.
It's now official White House policy that states will have to halt their progressive efforts to provide health insurance for millions more American children.
If Congress doesn't put up a fight, the Bush policy - ironically issued around the family hour - would do particular harm in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Both states are at the forefront on expanding kids' access to health care, with Gov. Rendell's “Cover All Kids” plan one of the most ambitious in seeking to insure every child.
